The Deputy High Commissioner of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Sri Lanka Mrs. Laura Davies visited Batticaloa area

Mrs. Laura Davies Deputy High Commissioner of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Sri Lanka visited Batticaloa area on 9, 10 and 11 of Sep 2014. During the visit she held few discussions. On 10^th held a dicussion with Mayor of Kalmunai Municipal Council Hon. Nissam Kariyappar in Municipal Council. On 11^th she discussed with NGO representatives in the area in Burger Union hall, Kallady. Same day she attended for a discussion with Batticaloa District GA Mrs. PSM Charles in the GA office and later after she held a discussion with Senior DIG Nandana Munasinghe in Senior DIG’s office.

After that Deputy High Commissioner attended for a discussion with three MPs of TNA in Rivera Resort with a luncheon party. Hon. S Yogeshwaran, Hon. P Ariyanenthiran and Hon. P selvarasa participated for the discussion. Later she visit Monument in Panochchiady, Sathurukondan and Kulaviyarweli pre-school in Chenkallady – Badulla Rd and left the Batticaloa and move towards Trincomalee.
