A couple who were engaged in
informal affair attempted to commit suicide on 1st Oct 2014. Two of
them had jumped in to the lagoon from Kallady Bridge and the man was dead and
woman was rescued by fishermen. Further sources revealed that husband of the
woman is working abroad.
