An
Islam video programme was displayed for Muslim public in Kattankudy,
Attalachchenai and Oddamavady areas by Sri Lanka Thauhith Jamath. The video
programme was telecasted in Chennai, India and it was conducted by an Indian
Maulavi.
The programme conducted in Oddamavady had been
cancelled by the OIC Valachchenai police hence they had not taken permission
from the local authorities to conduct such a programme. Kaththankudy programme
had to shift in side to the Mosque since it was conducting near to Hisbullah
Stadium disturbing for movements on the road.
